Gia is an actress, dancer, singer, writer, accompanist, and yoga/meditation teacher. She began studying classical piano and theory at age 6 and continued her education at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in both Classical Voice and Piano. She discovered her affinity for teaching piano at the age of 14, around the time that she completed the Advanced level of the Certificate of Merit program in California, and was eager to share her knowledge. In addition to the musical & yogic training, she holds degrees in psychology and English, with graduate work in medicine, neuroscience, acting & playwriting.

Give yourself or your child a gift that will last a lifetime. I am a piano, singing, and acting teacher with a special love for teaching children. I will also accept full-grown students of any age! People always tell me that they regret not learning how to play the piano. To be able to approach an instrument or piece of music with ease... it will always stay with you. A little knowledge goes a long way. And a sense of mastery is a wonderful gift for your child.

I suggest we start with a 30-45 minute lesson for your child, depending on his or her age and individual attention span. I am also a meditation/yoga teacher; thus, I may very well calm your child's mind and soul as a bi-product of our lessons.

My teaching style is both comprehensive and versatile. In general lessons, I cover all material that will provide a foundation for complete mastery of the instrument. We study technique, theory, ear training, musicality, and composition. With a special emphasis on emotional connection, and physicality, for both singers and pianists. I work with each student on a totally individual basis, in the sense that everyone learns at a different pace and in different ways. I also offer specific coachings for acting, monologues, and audition prep.
